Tiffany's Legacy

Considered one of Tiffany & Co.'s "legacy gemstones", tanzanite was introduced to the world by president Henry Platt in 1968. Today, the legacy lives on through Tanzanite New York's Royal® Collection. 

Although a relative newcomer to the luxury world, Tanzanite is already considered a “generational gemstone” as it will be found, mined, and depleted within one generation. In fact, the world's only source of Tanzanite will run out within 12 years.
